October’s Mouth-Friendly Recipe 2013

Spooky Witch Fingers

  • Carrots
  • Red apples
  • Peanut butter

Peel full-size carrots, then cut into finger-length sections. Using the peeler, carve a flat area along the end of the carrots where you can put your apple skin “fingernail.” Use the peeler to cut a bit of skin from the apple, then shape it like a fingernail.

On the flat end of the carrot, place a bit of peanut butter and stick the apple “fingernail” to it. Place five carrot fingers on a plate to create a whole “hand.” It’s a fun way to add some spooky holiday spirit to your child’s Halloween – or your own!
