March’s Mouth-Friendly Recipe 2014

Green Smoothie


  • 1 – 1½ cups* of milk of your choice (skim, 2%, almond, soy, etc.)
  • 1 cup kale leaves
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1 mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • Stevia or other artificial sweetener to taste


Put everything into a blender and blend until well combined. For a creamier smoothie, try cutting the banana into pieces and freezing prior to blending. Experiment by adding other fruits and berries!

*Use less milk if you prefer a thicker smoothie.
